The Penn Fathom Electric Reel Kit builds upon the renowned Fathom II Lever Drag series. This reel is an innovative, first of its kind reel. Equipped with a seamlessly integrated Lithium-Ion battery pack, the Fathom Electric 30 liberates you from cords and outlet constraints, offering unparalleled mobility and convenience. It’s true digital line counter can be calibrated to different line diameters, powering an autostop feature for effortless hands-free retrieval, complemented by a manual override if you wish to manually run the speed control. The robust brushless motor delivers exceptional drag capabilities, accommodating a wide range of fishing styles from chicken rigs to sailfish kites. Included in the kit are the reel itself, a powerful 5AH lithium-ion battery, and a dedicated charger, ensuring you’re fully equipped for any angling adventure.

Spooling Option

Select from standard spooling options listed in the drop-down menu above, or let us know how you would like your reel spooled. Custom spooling including top-shots, wind-ons, hollow-core backing, and fluorocarbon are available. Call or send a note with your requirements and we’ll advise costs. All reels are machine spooled under ideal tension, braid is spooled with approximately 50 feet of mono backing. Wind-on leaders are offered for both hollow core and non-hollow braid, hollow core is spliced and non-hollow braid is connected loop-to-loop with a bimni twist.

Utilizes a true digital line counter that calibrates directly to your specific line diameter. This powers the automated hands-free retrieval, stopping the reel automatically when your rig or kite reaches a predetermined zero point at the rod tip.
