The walking action is controlled by rod rhythm and slack line, so the lures value comes from how you work it, not just the body sitting on top.

Use short downward twitches to walk it side to side, then pause around bait, weed holes, current lines, and structure.

Speed it up when fish are chasing and slow it down when they follow without hitting.

The pause is often the bite window.

It is strongest in low light, over shallow cover, around schooling bait, and whenever predators are willing to look up.
