The Yoichi 80 Sinking Lure is a sinking pencil for surf, estuary, and shoreline work where distance and subsurface control matter.
Start with a steady retrieve and adjust the countdown until the lure tracks through the right layer.
Add small sweeps, pauses, or lift-and-fall changes when fish follow without committing, because the bite often comes as the lure changes speed.
It is strongest in surf gutters, river mouths, rock wash, current seams, and shorelines with bait moving in the upper to mid-water column.
It is not a deep-bottom lure or a snag-proof bait, so control sink time around rough ground.
TARGET SPECIES: sea bass, flatfish, trevally, bluefish, queenfish, snapper, and shore predators feeding around bait, current, surf, and rock edges.
