Assassin Snail (Anentome helena)

Assassin snails (Anentome helena) are a predatory species of freshwater whelk that primarily eat other snails. They are often bought as a solution to pest snail infestations, as they have a ravenous appetite for them. Should there be no available snails for them to eat, they will eat most sinking meaty foods such as bloodworms or fish pellets.
